अमेरिकाले पहिलोपटक कालापानी, लिपुलेक र लिम्पियाधुरा सहितको नयाँ नक्सा स्विकार गर्यो

काठमाडौं । अमेरिकाले नेपालको नयाँ नक्सालाई स्विकार गरेको छ । नेपालस्थित अमेरिकी राजदूतावासले नेपालको कालापानी, लिपुलेक र लिम्पियाधुरा भूभाग समेटिएको नक्सा प्रयोगमा ल्याएको हो ।

सामाजिक सञ्जाल फेसबुमा एक पोस्ट गर्दा दूतावासले नेपालको आधिकारिक नक्सा प्रयोग गरेको छ । कालापानी, लिपुलेक र लिम्पियाधुरा समेटिएको नक्सा भर्खरै मात्र प्रतिनिधिसभाले पारित गरेको छ । सरकारले पनि आफ्नो आधिकारिक प्रयोगका लागि नयाँ भूभाग समावेश भएको राजनीतिक नक्सा सार्वजिनक गरेको थियो ।

सरकारले आधिकारिक रुपमा नक्सा परिवर्तन गरेपछि नेपालमा रहेको अमेरिकी दूतावासले यसको प्रयोग हो । तपाँईँलाई जानकारी गराउँ कि अमेरिकी दूतावास नेपालको आधिकारिक अद्यावधिक नक्सा सार्वजनिक रुपमा प्रयोग गर्ने पहिलो दूतावास हो ।

On April 13, when two COVID-19 positive cases were identified at Suncity Apartments, Pepsikola, Kathmandu, Pradip Khatiwada – an International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) 2017 alumnus – kicked into action and delivered Personal Protective Equipment to health professionals and the security guards at the apartment complex the very next day. As Founder of Youth Innovation lab — Pradip led a technical team, along with other organizations in the region and co-designed a COVID-19 monitoring platform (http://covid19-monitor.net) that was used to track the movement of coronavirus positive patients around the region. The site has been widely used in Nepal, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan. And he also leads a technical team to develop a comprehensive portal for the Government of Nepal, National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs. We are proud to have Pradip as an alumnus of our program!
